C-3 Payment of Florida Association of District School Superintendents Annual Dues for fiscal year 2006-07 (Revised)
Issue/Rationale
School Board approval is required for payment of annual dues to FADSS.
Membership dues to FADSS allows participation and networking with Superintendents statewide. The school district reaps valuable benefits by participating in the Association, including state-of-the-art leadership training. The FADSS membership also includes an institution membership to the Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA). Likewise, this organization provides many membership benefits.
Recommended Action
Approve the Payment of annual dues to FADSS for FY 2006-07.
Financial Impact
$16,144.00
Includes: $15,897.00 FADSS dues and $247.00 FASA dues.
We will not pay the AASA dues.
